SHOP Honest Baby Organic Cotton Onesies 10-Pack We use these as pajamas or around the house "messy" wear. They're so convenient and you don't have to worry about messing up the good clothes. I do run through them pretty fast though - but that's a good thing, I think! SHOP Lalo Play Gym My daughter loved this as an infant and now that she's a toddler she still plays with it! I bought it for the muted colors that seamlessly blend in with her nursery, but honestly, functionality is a 10/10. It's really all you need in a play gym. Some of the others on the market seemed ovestimulatinging to me, so I can't imagine how they might feel to a newborn. SHOP Love Every Play Gym I've head nothing but great things from friends about this one and though I haven't tried it personally, I may get it the next go around! SHOP FridaMom Peri Bottle Whether you get this in a kit or buy it separately, just make sure you get it. The hospital will send you home with a bottle to rinse with but this upside down design makes life so much easier when you're already in a ton of pain. Pro Tip: Fill the bottle with warm water before you rinse. Avoid cold water if possible. Just trust me on this one. SHOP Acetaminophen & Ibuprofen Just go ahead and stock up on this now. If you give birth at a hospital they will most likely send you home with pain killers but you won't want to run out of them and have to deal with the pain, and/or be bothered with purchasing more. SHOP Babocush During those first few weeks when our daughter was crying seemingly non stop and we couldn't figure out what was wrong, THIS! I can't say it enough. We strapped this to our Mamaroo and let the gadgets give us a much needed break! THIS combined with the BioGaia Probiotic drops did the trick! It gave us time to rest, eat, and relax. Ese era el plan. Pero la vida tenía otros planes, y, sinceramente, todo sucedió como debía, en perfecto orden. En lugar de sentar cabeza pronto, pasé mis veinte años viviendo, aprendiendo y progresando. Obtuve mi licenciatura en la Universidad Howard, estudié en el extranjero y me forjé una carrera como productora de eventos, primero en la industria del entretenimiento y luego en las grandes tecnológicas. Estaba cumpliendo objetivos que ni siquiera sabía que estaban en la lista. Entonces llegó la pandemia y, como a tantos otros, me despidieron. Giro inesperado: ese desvío me llevó al amor de mi vida. Nos casamos y, a los 30, me convertí en mamá de una niña preciosa. ¿Fue una década más tarde de lo que había planeado? Sí. ¿Pero llegó justo a tiempo? Sin duda. El embarazo no fue fácil para mí, y el parto fue absolutamente traumático. We even got to hang out with Spider Man while we were there. :) I especially appreciate how the aquarium is designed for all ages, with sensory-friendly features and lots of hands-on activities for curious little minds.
